Timeless EleganceFlexible collaboration for an iconic hotel
The collaboration between Ted Bernhardtz and Britannia began in 2019, with around 500 garments delivered per year. The collection was based on the standard range, which was a prerequisite for securing supply and avoiding the need for separate warehousing. – The customer wanted to be able to order new clothes when the need arose. Therefore, we developed a solution that made it easy to supplement smaller orders and deliver quickly, says Andreas Carlsson, Key Account Manager at Ted Bernhardtz.
Refined aesthetics with
unique details
By basing the collection on pieces from Ted Bernhardtz's At Work range, it was possible to refine it with exclusive, carefully selected details that blend well with the context and the brand. – For Britannia, the customisation included jackets with a unique metal button, a special label on the inside and a bow tie as an accessory. Small details – but ones that made a big difference to the feel, explains Andreas Carlsson.
Comfort meets exclusivity
Behind the timeless aesthetic, there were also clear requirements for functionality and comfort. – The working days are long and place high demands on materials and fit. That's why we created garments that both look professional and are comfortable to wear, explains Andreas Carlsson, continuing: Another important feature for our client was the ability to wash the uniform like regular clothes. The more durable garments that do not require special care are easy to handle and ensure that the polished finish can be maintained for a longer period of time. Together with the Britannia Hotel, we created a uniform that exudes timeless elegance and can be worn with pride in an environment where nothing is left to chance.
