Ted Bernhardtz and 7-Eleven have created a new collection that unites the franchise in Sweden. Through a creative collaboration, we have developed workwear that combines comfort and modern design with a touch of retro.
7-Eleven
Convenience in serviceSmart workwear
For 7-Eleven, with around 90 franchise stores across Sweden, it was time for an upgrade of its store uniforms. With around 10,000 garments delivered per year, there is a priority on employee comfort, while the uniform should represent the 7-Eleven brand. – The aim was for employees to feel more proud when wearing the clothes and to feel comfortable. There has been a demand for a nicer pair of trousers in jeans and t-shirts that are comfortable and breathable. It was important for us to accommodate their wishes, says a representative from 7-Eleven.
A lovely retro vibe
Simultaneously as Ted Bernhardtz was responding to employee feedback on comfortable workwear, work was underway to reflect 7-Eleven's familiar look in green, cream, orange and red. – In this project, we worked together with the client and an external design agency. We have been involved and advised primarily regarding the choice of fabrics during the process, says Ted Bernhardtz KAM Andreas Carlsson. The T-shirts and jeans have been designed with well-chosen materials that are adapted to the store environment, while offering a high level of comfort for the store staff's working days. The result is a collection with a lovely retro vibe that still feels modern and fresh.
Positive outlook ahead of the release
The new collection, which was launched at the end of August 2024, has received positive feedback internally.
– The finished collection was presented at the customer’s national meetings in Gothenburg and Oslo in February 2024, and the response has been fantastic, says our KAM Andreas Carlsson.
As for 7-Eleven, they express appreciation for working with partners who are approachable and helpful.
